Instagram is a great tool to bring into school. It encourages kids to participate in the larger conversation about their learning. Here are some ideas to try in your classroom:
- In Math, students can bring in photos of items demonstrating certain concepts like parallel lines, symmetry, and angles.
- For Science, students can post photos of certain types of animals, plants, ecosystems, an element, and acids.
- For Language Arts, students can take photos of their favorite books, characteristics of the character, setting, etc.
- Use hashtags specific to your classroom and project so that everyone can easily find photos applicable to your students’ work.
